I’m a travel and culture obsessive: I love getting deeeep into culture. I’m not interested in ‘top five generic things to see and do in London’.  I want to know about the roots of London’s grime and garage scene, the influence of the Caribbean in the UK, and how the neighbourhoods have come to stand as they are today. Culture is what makes each destination unique and I love to celebrate that by amplifying local creatives, small businesses, and overlooked communities. 

I’m also big on responsible travel (I used to spend hours researching it and turning it into content for Reset Travel in my free time). I’m currently studying Responsible Tourism (PG Dip) part-time, learning about local economic development, destination management, responsible travel marketing, and culture and heritage.

This combination of cultural awareness and understanding of tourism issues has given me a unique perspective that is one of my most valuable assets as a travel writer and marketer.
